Job Description

Your Purpose

In this role, you will be working directly with Forecastr founders, Steven Plappert (CEO) & Logan Burchett (COO), to help serve our startup customers. This will consist of building and maintaining investor grade financial models and supporting founders in various aspects of startup finance.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for building & maintaining financial models for our startup customers using the Forecastr platform.
  • You will be responsible for serving our customers, engaging with them through live chat, email, and video calls to help them with their financial models, or other startup finance related help they need.
  • While not a part of your primary role, everyone at an early-stage startup can and must wear multiple hats. There will be ample opportunity for you to involve yourself in other areas of the company such as: sales, product testing, operations, content marketing, etc. Candidates who have an interest in getting involved in these areas are preferred.
  • This is a full-time position. You will be expected to work 40 hours per week and hit metrics related to great customer service and building financial models on-time and of the highest quality.

Marketing Coordinator

Job Description

Your Purpose

You will be a key player on our growing marketing team. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of our busy online events calendar. You will work closely with our partnerships team and our executive leadership team to ensure that all events are planned, promoted, and executed according to a standardized process. You will strive to make all of our online events as engaging and productive as possible.

Your Responsibilities

  • Event Coordination: You will manage the execution of online events, including: coordinating and scheduling our internal team and external partners, promoting events via social media and email campaigns, and managing post-event communications.
  • Measurement and Reporting: You will document and track statistics and metrics to help understand the effectiveness of our online events. You will find ways to improve these metrics and optimize our promotion, engagement, and lead generation.
  • General Marketing Support: As a member of the marketing team, you will also occasionally contribute to a variety of other marketing tasks and objectives unrelated to our online events.
  • Social Media: You will craft catchy and engaging event announcements and images. You will actively engage with our social media audience through comments and direct messages.
  • Copywriting and Editing: You will write and edit event descriptions and speaker bios. You will assist with the production of outlines, speaker notes, and slide decks for new presentations.

Skills & Experience

  • Preference for 1+ yr experience in a marketing role in a startup environment
  • Preference for 1+ yr experience producing online events
  • Detail-oriented, able to manage a complex calendar with multiple ongoing projects
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail in writing, spelling, and grammar
  • Engaging personality and comfortable speaking in front of groups
  • Preference for experience with Zoom, Hubspot, Canva, Slack, Asana, and social management platforms like Hootsuite, Loomly, Sprout Social, or similar
